Volunteers Needed!

We are currently looking for honest, reliable and friendly people to volunteer at the thrift shop, any day of the week. Call Jennifer Rowles at 609-485-0800 ext. 137 if you are interested.

You can support The Arc by donating or purchasing items at the thrift shop. Thrift shop proceeds go directly toward The Arc's programs and services. The shop is run by a dedicated team of volunteers and nets more than $40,000 annually, which benefits programs like recreation, family support and case management.

Your donations of household items, books, toys, linens and other non-clothing items are appreciated and welcomed during regular business hours of 10am-4pm. Clothing can be donated the 2nd throught the 4th week of every month.  Please kindly refrain from donating clothing the first seven days of each month due to limited storage space.

You can drop off your donations to the shop located at 6409 Ventnor Avenue in Ventnor (next to the International Food Market).  If you would like to schedule an earlier drop off time, please call the shop during regular business hours at 609-822-7055 and we will try to arrange a date and time when someone will be there to accept your donation.

The Arc asks that all donated items be new or in gently used condition. Clothing items should be seasonal (summer clothes in summer; winter clothes during winter) with no stains or excessive wear. The thrift shop reserves the right not to accept any item due to limited storage.  Donation receipts are available for tax deduction purposes.
