Adult Training Center
The Adult Training Center is a community based program that offers people with intellectual and developmental disabilities the pleasure of participating in a variety of volunteer and community-based activities. Participants volunteer at our local Goodwill and Salvation Army stores, the ASPCA, the Zion Lutheran Church in Egg Harbor City, and assist with maintaining the grounds and facilities of the Atlantic County Park Systems. Participants enjoy swimming at the Ocean City Aquatic Center, socializing at the movies, bowling at area bowling alleys, and going out to lunch at various restaurants and eateries including the Atlantic County Special Services School Forest Restaurant. They also visit various museums in South Jersey. We add new volunteer and other fun activities as new community connections are made.
