November 14, 2008: Celebration of Service, A Tribute to Debbie Davies and Pat Jones

On Friday, November 14th, The Arc of Atlantic County’s Board of directors hosted a luncheon and fundraiser to recognize Deborah Davies, CEO, and Pat Jones, COO, for 25 years of service together on behalf of people with developmental disabilities.  The event was held at Carmine’s in Atlantic City. 

In the past 25 years, Davies and Jones transformed the agency from a small, grassroots organization with an annual budget of $400,000 to a diversified social service corporation with a $9 million budget that serves 700 people and their families.  Thousands of people in our community have benefited from The Arc’s services over the years.   

Nearly 140 people from the community came out to support The Arc and celebrate Davies’ and Jones’ accomplishments.  The event raised $13,000 for programs and services.
