RELEASE Six New Board Members Join The Arc of Atlantic County Somers Point, NJ – July 9, 2004 – Laura Clements, Patrick Geubtner, Kevin McDonnell, Gwen Murphy, Dot Saatkamp and Rick Walker were installed as new board members of The Arc of Atlantic County last Sunday during The Arc's Annual Members Meeting in Mays Landing. “Five more people are joining our board of directors than we had in Fiscal Year 2004, bringing our board to a total of 17 members,” Chief Executive Officer Deborah Davies announced. “I eagerly look forward to all the good ideas, gifts and inspiration that our new board members will bring to The Arc in the coming years.” The Arc of Atlantic County is a private non-profit organization that has been making a difference in the lives of people with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities, and their families since its founding in 1961. It is a member of The Arc of the United States along with more than 1,000 similar organizations nationwide.
