ACCESSING SERVICES
What
is DDD eligibility and how do I get it?
The Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD)
is a Division of the New Jersey Department of Human Services.
Since The Arc of Atlantic County is largely state funded, most
of the people who participate in our services or who are interested
in living in a group home or supported living apartment must have
DDD eligibility. To gain eligibility, an application must be completed
for each individual and submitted to DDD. Included in the application
process will be a review of medical and school records, when appropriate.
For information on obtaining eligibility you can contact the Southern
Region Office of DDD.
